Sessions Posted!!!
Posted On: Wednesday, September 24, 2008
We have completed the speaker/session selection for fall 2008 Day of .NET in Ann Arbor that takes place on October 18, 2008. The fall Call for Speakers was extremely successful, resulting in far more submissions than we have timeslots for. This is a good problem to have, but makes it very tough to choose the perfect combination of sessions.
You can view the completed session list at: http://www.dayofdotnet.org/AnnArbor/Fall2008/Sessions.aspx
And remember to register early, we set the cap on registrations at 250 and we expect to have a full conference again this year. You can register here: http://www.dayofdotnet.org/AnnArbor/Fall2008/Registration.aspx

Posted On: Friday, September 21, 2007
The complete list of sessions for this fall's Day of .NET in Ann Arbor (October 20, 2007) have been posted.
The selection process as always was extremely difficult, but we managed to fill the 20 timeslots. We hope that the blend of topics that were selected will appeal to the widest range of audience, from the novice beginner to the most advanced coding Guru, and from those looking for information on the newest whiz-bang technology coming out of Redmond to those who need insight into the more "everyday" products and tools.
There certainly is something for everyone at this fall's event, and we have no doubt that Day of .NET in Ann Arbor will turn out to be an outstanding conference once again.
The agenda for the fall Day of .Net will be finalized and posted next week.
Registration is currently open, and the event costs nothing to attend.

Posted On: Friday, September 14, 2007
We're busy trying to finalize the speaker/session selection for fall 2007 Day of .NET in Ann Arbor that takes place on October 20, 2007. This is a good problem to have, but makes it very tough to choose the perfect combination of sessions.
As a sneak preview, though, the first ten sessions from the selection process, have been posted to the website:

Thanks for Coming!
Posted On: Tuesday, May 08, 2007
The Day of .NET in Ann Arbor 2007 has come and gone. What a great event it turned out to be!
Thank you to the 205 (!) people who attended, including registered attendees, speakers, organizers, on-site sponsors, and even a few walk-ins. Despite an issue with the air conditioning, everyone seems to have had a blast, and all indications are that we'll have even more people at the next event!
Speaking of the next Day of .NET in Ann Arbor, there is a possibility that we will hold the event twice a year, or move the event to the fall instead of the spring. Stay tuned as the organizers debate the various options and come to a conclusion...
Our goal is to make DoDN the premier developer conference in this area (if it isn't already), and we think that we're definitely on the right track. This event would not be possible, and definitely would not be free for our attendees, if it weren't for the many sponsors that we had. Please take the time to become familiar with their offerings, and if you happen upon one of these companies at a tradeshow, then please mention how much you appreciate their support of the developer community.
Also, if you haven't already, please participate in the Google Group that was created for this event:
http://groups.google.com/group/dodn
Again, thank you to everyone who participated in the Day of .NET in Ann Arbor 2007, and we hope to see you the next time!

Session Swap Alert
Posted On: Tuesday, May 01, 2007
Two of our sessions with Windows Mobile themes were inadvertantly scheduled for the same timeslot. To avoid these sessions from competing with one another for the same audience, we have swapped one of them with an earlier timeslot's session.
Dan Hibbitt's "Good Things Come in Small Packages: The Mobile Client Software Factory" session will now be taking place at 9:00 AM.
Brian Sherwin's "Avoiding Database Entropy" session will now be taking place at 12:50 PM.
